Hi! I'm Christel Anthony, and I'm a wife, mom, and teacher who is passionate about Jesus and coffee! It is my prayer that all would not only learn the "answers" to their big questions, but also to have the foundation to know where they came from through a solid Christian Worldview, theology, and understanding of historical Christianity. 

 My passion for God's word and apologetics started around the dinner table where my dad would share what he had read in the Bible that day during his lunch break. There I learned that the Bible was more than just the set of Sunday School stories that I had already memorized.  As my parents grew in their own faith and shared what they learned with us, I was encouraged to start sharing truth from a Biblical Worldview in my public school setting, and eagerly ate up any information that came my way from "Big Questions."

I eventually did youth ministry for 8.5 years, knowing that students not only needed adults in their lives who would walk with them as they became the men and women God had designed them to be, as well as teaching them that learning about God was more than just knowing the "answers"--they needed to know WHY. 

 Although eventually I left full-time ministry to teach high school English, I never lost my passion for studying the Bible and knowing how to answer those who challenged the validity of Christianity. Now that I'm "grown-up" and my own children are a little older now and asking their own "Big Questions," it's time to get back into sharing God's word with others and using the gifts God has given me to teach and build relationships with others in and outside of Christianity. 

This blog is the start of that, as I share what I'm learning in the field of apologetics and attempting to form some of my thoughts in order to have more meaningful conversations with others. It is my prayer that this might grow into something else--but all with God's leading!
